Fund I – The South Africa Workforce Housing Fund - $250 million (about R1.9 billion).
The Fund is closed and fully funded. $80 million is participating debt provided by the United States Overseas Private Investment Corporation (OPIC), with an additional $160 million in equity raised from institutional investors (from North America and South Africa).
The OPIC participation provides debt on favourable terms as well as endorsement of the Fund, based on a rigorous due diligence process, from an experienced international financial institution.
